Saturday Me and troy decided to goto Mt. Hiei比叡山 with his boss Oya-sensei. But before I get into that I will discuss my new concept for this blog, seeing i now have the Photo website, I will post maybe 3 photo's of my journeys here, and post a link to my site where you can get more detailed information about the individual photos, and much more of them:)

So I was awaken by phone calls saying "hey where are you?", from that I learned I had over slept, i threw on clothes and bolted out the door to the meeting place. I get in the car and we first head to Lake Biwa 琵琶湖 for a nice BBQ with some really tasty meats and veggies. Afterwards Oya-sensei asks us where should we head to next, he suggested Nara but then realized it is kind of late to head there now, so then he says "Ah Hiei is close and we can goto Enryaku-ji延暦寺. So we goto the mountain and we saw the most beautiful scenery I have seen in quite some time. From the mid point of the mountain we could see Otsu大津, and Kyoto京都. It was amazing.
The temple was great too, it was once a huge complex and the center of Japanese Buddhism, until Oda Nobunaga 織田信長 burnt the temple to the ground in the Momoyama Period桃山時代 because of the political threat the monastaries were then becoming. The temple was indeed facinating, and this trip was amazing. We ended the trip with seeing the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen in my life, too bad my camera could not capture it in time :(
